Undoing Racism

The Capital District UMC will convene its second Undoing Racism event October 19-21, 2017 at St. Peter’s United Methodist Church in Austin, Texas. The goal of this event is to build a strong community of UM leaders who are familiar with the evil of racism and equipped to resist it in whatever form it presents itself in our personal lives, our churches, and our world.

If you are interested in more information about this event or future events, an online registration request form is open at the link below. Your registration will be confirmed by September 20, at the latest.
Thank you for your patience as we discern the racial balance that is so important for the success of this event. Breakfast and lunch will be provided Friday and Saturday. Participants are expected to attend the event in its entirety. We hope and pray that they will participate in follow up events to continue the work of Undoing Racism.

A donation of $25 is requested to cover meals and hospitality costs. However, no one will be turned away due to lack of ability to pay.
